I think the 16 track one is still unfinished. Prob the version that was given to Rick Rubin in 2013 (since it was mentioned to be early 2013) meanwhile the 20 track version is from 2012 iirc

kanye said the album was 16 tracks well to rick who told him to cut it down to 10 and save some for a follow up which i’m guessing was lost yeezus tapes/yeezus 2 so my guess is that the 16 track thank god for d**** was finished

Most of the Yeezus vocals weren't even recorded til 2 days before he had to turn the album in. I doubt the songs that didn't make the cut got treated any better.
