Nearly everyone believes Kendrick is a Grammy baiter lmao

“Kendrick just opened his mouth, someone go give him a Grammy right now”

Best line of the beef even now

Go ahead and define that term for me

It’s honestly hilarious that an artist could sit down and write something like Duckworth, How Much A Dollar Cost or Reincarnated and some dumbass says “oh he just made these for the Grammies”

A lot of these things were done better on Not Like Us

Meet the Grahams is a chatty patty boring rap song that is based on shock value of “exposing” Drake for hiding a kid, which was a total lie.

Drake accuses Kendrick of pretty valid things on Family Matters from the Grammy baiting, the performative pandering for media/critic love, being short, needing drakes name to get validation from the public that he never could quite get on his own (you have to remember that outside of the internet, most people took Drake and Cole over Kendrick until the beef), hiding from the public, his alcoholism and d*** use, acting high and mighty despite his cheating behaviors (which Kendrick himself admitted on Morale) and not having real hits. All of these things are completely true and half these things Kendrick admitted and Kendrick only got the public love after he went at Drake. Even the shock value things behind that song had a much larger degree of truth based on Kendrick and his wife’s social media activity and content on the songs. Kendrick just repeated a Pusha T reveal and it was lazy to spend half the song on that

Again, Kendrick won the battle at the end quite clearly but if he didn’t drop NLU and ended the battle with Grahams, I genuinely believe without a doubt Drake would end up victorious. It’s the fact that drakes reply to NLU was atrocious and NLU was an incredible moment

Dude just puts effort into his craft and is intentional about what he puts out.

Calling that grammy baiting is insane and delusional
