Honestly no, not anymore. I’ve forgotten… so much
depression/covid lockdown brainrot hits different i feel you
Literally a perfect song. The way each element of the beat slowly gets introduced at the beginning, the catchy hook, amazing verses. Told my bro at work last year that Ye went tf off on this song, he came back the next day like "You weren't wrong, that second verse
"
I feel the same way about Diamonds from Sierra Leone. One of the best hip-hop beats of all time imo and the verses are just as good
Yeah when I illegally downloaded grad from one of those file sharing software.... probably Ares or lime wire
Cruising in a Range on GTA 4
Such a perfect song
When I had my PSP and gotten me a memory stick for the first time.

Actually listened to this yesterday and every time I revisit anything from MBDTF I’m reminded why it’s the best hip hop album ever
It’s insane he has himself, Rihanna, Kid Cudi, Alicia Keys, Fergie, Drake (for 1 second) and Elton John all on a track and it works so well.
Just shows what Ye is best at, taking the best part of an artist’s talents and putting them together on a product and it sounds amazing
On top of that, the production is otherworldly still to this day. Legendary music.
Worst mainline gta tbh and not hearing flashing lights before that game is wild
flashing lights only released 7 months before gta 4 its not that wild

now this fatty cant even wheeze out a full verse
And even if he does get a verse off it’s some of the worst s*** ever recorded
See: Carnival
Yeah my mom bought grad and Curtis the same day and I overheard her listening to both. Flashing Lights sounded like Frosted Flakes to my 9 year old ears
i dont remember exactly but i know that most things Kanye I was on pretty early so im sure i saw premiere wherever it was
Power 106 used to have a segment called "New @ 2" with DJ Felli Fel, who actually worked with Kanye often (Finer Things) and he premiered most s*** pretty early.

Flashing lights is on graduation not mbdtf
100 percent
Actually the most vivid memory of first hearing a song I’ve ever had now that I think about it
I heard graduation and Curtis the same day they both came out. I heard Curtis first and thought it was cool then I listened to graduation and was blown away from the start.
Then I got to flashing lights and heard that intro building up to the beat drop and I was thinking “this s*** sounds immaculate already wtf is this beat about to sound like
”
Then the 808 and the sample dropped and I’m like “oh nah this Nigga gotta be the greatest nigga to ever make rap music
”
Then the synths hit and my soul elevated to the next dimension
