First of all you bake a cake. You don’t cook it.
Second, you make them out if a cake. So you still need to bake a regular cake. How does that mean it’s easier to “cook” uniformly
If you bake a s*** cake you still get s*** cake pops unless you throw away most of the cake

You bake a whole cake then break of pieces and roll them usually with icing into a cake pop. Then you put the stick in it and dipp it in the chocolate.
