also man i need to finish judgement and lost judgement then start the yakuza series
i played like 17 hours of judgement and just got tired of it like the game is so good but kinda repetitive
redownloading now though
Yakuza is quite repetitive by nature tbh
Also, anyone that enjoys Ishin I would suggest giving Kenzan a try. It is also very good and set in a Feudal Japan setting also.

oh yeah i know i’m sure when i get to them i’ll just need to take breaks while playing
the story for judgement is so good though so that keeps me going

Kenzan remake after 8 hopefully
So is this ishin game trash? Low key game play and graphics be looking 2002 type beat

It's a remake or remaster of an old spin off title that only came out in Japan
Gameplay in demo felt a bit dated compared to the recent yakuza titles. Personally I'm waiting to get it when it's cheaper.

so it’s a 2002 type beat smh I really be regretting getting a ps 5 sometimes b
should i just skip judgement? i really like it and the story but man some of the detective stuff isn’t really fun or the chase thing

No it's fire
also is it okay if i okay like a dragon first then go back to the other ones
idk why i really wanna play that first since it’s completely different
just not sure story wise if i’ll be lost

Up to you. If you not f***ing with it then you aren't really missing much storywise since it's completely separate from the main games.
Also I'd suggest starting with Yakuza 0 then skipping to LAD.

Even though it’s a remake, it’s wildly different from the regular yakuza games. First off it’s a one off story in an old period. Still uses the yakuza cast but it’s cool to spot everybody and how different they act.
Combat is pretty good. It’s not kamurocho and that feels fresh. Game is hard asf. Graphics are okay but they are better looking than yakuza 0-5. The loading between scenes is jarring though.
If you not playing any story focused game then it would be an instant cop for you.
S*** I love samurai’s I needed this

b that game put me to sleep 5 times. Never playing another yakuza game. It’s 2023 and mfs still need to read text dialogue like it’s 1994

mf if I wanted to read I would buy a book
So is Ishin worth playing because I keep hearing mixed things about it.
That it’s pretty good, but kind of a mid-tier Yakuza game. Not a “must-play” by any means.

Do all the mini games and 90% of the sides too
