Kiwami 2 is my second favorite after Y0. It's really close honestly.

I've only played 0 and Like a Dragon. Gonna jump to Kiwami 1 and 2 next.

Which yakuza game should I play next if I only played like a dragon? I’m afraid I’m not gonna like the others as much since they aren’t really rpgs right?

keep in mind that 0's combat system is better than 2 since 2 is a remaster of the ps2 version

or you could play the judgement series which isn't connected to the yakuza storyline really

Honestly a little underwhelming. Definitely not worth $30, I finished it it in 6-7 hours.

It sets up Kaito to be a future protag though. They added a lot to his backstory.

I've been stuck on Kiwami 2 for like a year and half Story was just not gripping me like 0 and Kiwami 1. I think I'm almost done though, gonna try and finish it this week.

I made sure to grab 6 and Like A Dragon during the steam sale tho

Finished Kiwami 2 today

I think I prefer 0 and Kiwami 1, but 2 was still really good. My only real complaint is that the ending felt a bit rushed. Like the actual ending was good and had the twists I expect from these games but the process of getting to the ending felt rushed. Some of the chapters were like 2 missions and then it was on to the next one. Idk what the dev process was like but it seems like they maybe ran out of time and just had to have Kiryu get s*** done quickly. It wasn't game ruining or anything, just something I noticed.

Doing the Majima missions (which I heard were short) then moving on to 3.

Yakuza 0 is just too much of an experience. Really hard to put anything above it.

But kiwami 2 is the next best in the series.
And I like the battle system more.

Enjoy it, story gets a little slow in the middle for a bit, but push through that and it picks back up

The real treat you’re in for is lost judgement, phenomenal title, easily top 2 of this collective of games.
