Demo is pretty good though. This is definitely the best combat in the series so far

Play them all because they're all good. Half of the magic of the series lies in coming to know the city/cities as characters within themselves. I feel like it might come off as idiosyncratic and "random" (and not as intended) just jumping in on a pirate spinoff of the 8th game starring the biggest side character from the LAST series. That's a lot of hoops to jump thru

I'd start with kiwami 1 tho. A remake of the 1st
