This is a massive exaggeration. The bulk of what Yachty did on Her Loss was co-production and just being an extra set of ears.

The most he contributed to that project was 2 songs (BackOutsideBoyz/Jumbotron). The rest was adding background vocals and doing co-production. That's it. Choosing artwork is nothing. "Executive-producing" is all the things you've already listed. And how does him influencing Drake's style (which is wack and has Drake dressing like a teenager and looking immature) positives?

Other artists have given Drake songs as well but he's probably given more songs to other artists than anyone else has so that evens out.

Nothing works without Drake and Drake still does the bulk of the heavylifting of all his albums. That has never changed. If Yachty was that much of a genius, his own songs would be better.

You clearly haven’t been paying attention to the year Yachty has been having.

You can downplay whatever you want, Drake keeps him around and works with him for a reason.

He’s dressing decently for the first time in his career, and Yachty is helping him bridge the gap that he would/should be having this late into his career.

Yachty is having a good year for his own career but he isn't saving Drake or helping him out in some major way. Drake is still pulling the bulk of his weight and Yachty is just another artist people will rush to credit for Drake's effort. Y'all did the same thing with The Weeknd, PND, Majid Jordan, Quentin Miller and all those people came and went and Drake is still Drake.

You can give Yachty credit for his own career without trying to take away from Drake but y'all never know how to do that. Album isn't even out and you're already licking Yachty's ass and hailing him as the best thing to happen to the album.

A lot of the highlights from Her Loss are thanks to Yachty, all I’m doing is making them known.

I think it’s great for Drake & Yachty both, and I’m not saying Yachty is responsible for his career or output, but definitely is influencing his direction in a good way.

I like them both so it’s very cool to see happen in real time.

Please stop. Yachty has credits on 5 of the 16 songs off that album and he only has writing credits on 3 of those songs. The rest are co-production credits.

He was clearly useful when it came to ✨vibes✨ and keeping the energy fresh on certain songs, but that's about it. Even the songs he heavily contributed to, if he was to make those songs himself, they wouldn't come out half as good. That alone tells you Drake is really the one who drives everything home but of course, it's not enough to give Yachty credit. Y'all have to take credit from Drake as well.

Feel like he may be getting more credit than he deserves when he clearly stated he just wanted to be in the room to observe the creative process. I think he gave Drake some ideas and direction on some parts of songs, but I don’t think he was hands-on curating entire ideas and making beats (the nigga can’t produce to save his life, it’s on video around the same time lmao). Drake’s spoken on Yachty’s ear but that’s about it

With the style thing, he’s had the same stylist for close to a decade now and they started switching up his style around CLB when he did that magazine shoot with shorty. Right before that he still had his fitted looks on

From elevating his image and style (he had none until Yachty started styling him), to bringing refreshing sounds to his music (executive produced Her Loss, gave him songs for the album, even chose the artwork), to influencing his stage design and direction with his current tour and the intimate show in Toronto, Drake could hit a new prime with Yachty guiding him.

And Yachty continues his rise to the top with his new far reaching connections via Drake.

You can try to deny it but just scroll his IG feed before and after Drake started using him, it’s like night and day. Anyone who has watched Yachty the last few years already knows this.
