BRAVEPeople really appreciate the stripped down and sentimental sound, songs and subject matter tbh. Plus it’s only 38 mins and made to be taken in as a whole
For millions of young people it’s their go to frame of reference for what a “good hiphop album” ideally is. Sadly a lot of people had to come to this via his death leading them to check it out, but make no mistake: they found out and loved it. Nobody is going “oh I only fw this cause he died”
