haven’t been able to play this as much as i wanted to but my 2 cents on the beta:

+gunplay feels smooth
+movement is good
+maps are good

-weapon balancing
-grenade animations are TERRIBLE (actually not just animations but the way they fly as well)
-some of the abilities are too strong for my liking

and something that would be nice to add:

killstreaks, or some sort of reward for getting (consecutive) kills

i will definitely be playing this game. it’s not the best shooter ever but i’ve had my fun and will hopefully have even more in the future. and heck, it’s free after all

SMGs have heavy damage drop off over range on CoD where an AR will always s*** on them at mid range or more

I was directing that towards your statement “if you can’t beat them join them” damn near every shooter has one or two guns that dominates the playing field. Cod, halo, GoW, apex etc. also depends on skill level niggas can still beam you with a sub cross map in cod

Yes and in all of those games it’s always a problem when one gun is reigning supreme compared to the rest. Warzone community has a new gun that ruins the meta every month and every battle pass and they’re very vocal about it. That’s why we talk about weapon balance. An entire class should not be this favorable compared to every other one. That’s pretty simple to me idk how it’s getting any pushback tbh

& Skill level shouldn’t be apart of the conversation when we’re talking about making gun classes for niche playstyles lol if you’re using SMGs your play style should favor your close encounters and fast movement. But in this game you don’t have to play by that rule. SMGs melt from range.

Graphics suck
Color of everything is boring / dirty
Animations are pretty mid
No rewards for ptfo or getting kills

If someone told me this game was for the Chinese market only, I’d believe them!

Overall 5/10. Won’t last long the devs are clueless
