The 10 GB number came from a GDC talk from Insomniac. They talk about it around minute 25-26 in this video:

As much as Xbox just doesn’t interest me(purely because of lack of games) this is f***ing awesome for consumers and I would not have minded one bit if Sony made a console like this instead of just the digital edition. $300 is a great price and it’s a major shame that there’s really no wow factor games for Xbox because if they had even some of the games that Sony has in their current and next gen line up I would not hesitate to get the series s. Good move on Microsoft, now hopefully Sony can hurry the f*** up and release some info about the ps5
