Or they can get more Game Pass subscribers while simultaneously increasing their Xbox Live user base, whether it's through PC or console they obviously want more people playing on their platforms. Plus Game Pass will probably be more expensive by then bringing in even more revenue, the only way I see it on PS5 is if Sony allows Game Pass which is highly unlikely

I bought a Series X basically just bc of gamepass and for old games. Games being $70 now really hurts the pockets and you can literally get gamepass for a year for less than one game

Add all of Bethesda's games and then you get Starfield and Elder Scrolls day 1 along with whatever they add to Gamepass by then and we have the craziest deal of all time

You're adding to my point, If I had a PS5 and couldn't play Fallout 5, Elder Scrolls 6 or Starfield I would either get a PC or Xbox, as would many others. Microsoft is playing the long game, this is just a small step towards growing GP. At the moment they only have 15 million subscribers, Netflix almost has 200 million. GP is still young and has a lot of room to grow. Microsoft would be smart to do anything it can to get more subscribers including making Elder Scrolls exclusive. One sell is a one time event a subscription has the potential to become stable monthly income
