in the case of Doom it wouldnt matter since the developers (ID software) are under the parent company of both but if the developer is just getting their game published by bethesda and isnt under the parent company they could just stop working with bethesda and publish their games with someone else

I'll end up getting most multi platform games on XSX. Simply cause they'll look better on XSX. Same thing I did for the last generation cause I have both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X and the One X easily outperforms the Pro in the graphics department.
