Cerny already said they picked and chose what they needed from rdna2 depending on what they wanted. For example they wouldn't need sampler feedback since their i/o solution does that already and is faster. Xbox out here misleading the masses

Sony seems to be using some custom solutions on their GPU but it’ll be interesting to see which perform better seeing as Microsoft’s GPU is using all the technology integrated with the chip. Series X|S may perform closer to PC spec than PS5. We’ll have to wait and see what Sony does with their custom solution
