I did some math and the game pass trick used to cost the following if you get 3 years of gold and 1 month of ultimate for like $100 (12 months gold costs $30 with a turkish gift card):

costs $2.80 per month
saves $512 compared to the regular monthly price (in US)

if you do the trick now:

costs $4.17
saves $308

edit: had to update the US regular prices cause it's 15 bucks here in europe and not 17
