Apparently you have to redeem 3 years of „game pass essentials“ with keys and 3 years of ea play and then redeem 1 month of ultimate.
Then you would have 22.5 months of ultimate for 220€ (260 dollars at the moment damn )

Game pass essentials time converts to 40% ultimate and ea play to 20% ultimate now

36 months essentials (core / gold) = 14.4 months ultimate

36 months ea play = 7.2 months ultimate

You don’t have to. You can just do the trick with Essential for 14 months ultimate

It’s been cheaper just to buy codes every month for around $9-$11 but it gets annoying to have to put in the code once a month

The 1 month trial codes have been getting more expensive the last year I can imagine they’re probably gonna skyrocket now

they are a 4 trillion dollar company, i understand that sub services get price hikes but they are usually very incremental and spread out.

Also they haven't reached netflix status yet to go and start raising prices f*** them.

What they should do now is put their first party games on the premium tier (maybe exclude COD) and don't put no 3rd party day one in there, just focus on the first party.

i’ll probably cancel mine or cheaper option but i just started playing a couple games on it recently

nah i think it should be the first party games there day one,

because i think the best thing about these sub services are 1st party day one drops that are made with the service in mind first,

for example, i like that i can subscribe to apple tv and all episodes of severance are there day one, but i can wait for the stuff that comes to theaters first, to hit the service later.

Or at least Microsoft should divide the drops by budget, the smaller budget ones goes to premium day one and big stuff goes to ultimate and then trickle down to premium after a few months

leaving no day one drops to premium is a tough pill to swallow for me.
