yeah it was genuine and a real working people show because it was actual dudes with jobs doing it and not hacks trying to fit in with advertisers so that they could twiddle their thumbs talking about bullshit and making money. feefo and beezy both left because of their jobs and thats very admirable
my thoughts exactly. sad to see it end like this, always enjoyed their group brotherhood/friendship and perspectives on hiphop. even sadder that they from my city
For context, Beezy said he landed a job with really good pay so he won’t have as much time anymore for the show
my OG’s fr, if myke & ken did a pod of just them shooting the s*** I might tap in lol
Nothing. They getting older, leveling up in their professions, getting married, and starting/taking care of their families. It's called life b.
They been at it for about 15 years, after awhile other things become more important and you wanna do other s***.
my OG’s fr, if myke & ken did a pod of just them shooting the s*** I might tap in lol
Check Dead End Media Group
Is the Mic Still On podcast where it's them speaking about life, society, politics, and culture.
Frames Per Second which is about film and television.
They havent been passionate about reviews in years. Surprised beezy didnt leave sooner he always seem the least interested in the reviews
they jus did top albums of 2025 with everyone including myke. sounds like it's done but they'll still do things here and there
Man I never know any of these content creators that get posted on here, I jus listen to music
If i had to guess
It's probably a combination of the channel not popping off as much as it use to, and real life responsibilities making it not worth the work.
I hope it isn't beef or anything.
Anyway, nothing can last forever. And they had a massively long run for a Hip-Hop focused channel, and are one of the first ones to really do it well. Having even a 7 year run is impressive. But 10-15 Years relevant on youtube is an amazing run. There are tons of hip-hop channels that started in the same era as them that are nonexistent now. Some i probably watched back then and don't even remember.
Yea it’s been stale for awhile, early dehh with them recording outside is legendary rap content tho
they had a great run but tbh they been checked out, still having technical issues with sound and their new members are just not as interesting as them.
Myke was the best thing about the show anyway
Whatever happened to Sophie?
Left about three years ago.
She just got more involved with her life/work outside of DEHH. Interior design career started taking off and it required her to have to travel domestically and internationally much more.
tbh the album review format has changed a lot since the 2010s. i think these days it's more "reaction" type content that gets view
apart from fantano i cant think of another reviewer who has managed to stay relevant with the same format
they really haven't been relevant in a long time but they were cool at the time
Damn this thread making me realize that a lot of people ain't up with what else they do in DEHH these days lol
They gotta whole media platform called DeadEndMediaGroup where they got different shows that many of the OG members still contribute to.
Is the Mic Still On is their weekly podcast where they talk about a wide range of topics. Myke, Rod, Kinge, Beezy, and Spike are the main mics.
DeadEndSports as you can well imagine is about sports. Mainly has Kinge, Feefo, Spike, and sometimes Beezy.
DeadEndGaming again self-explanatory it's about gaming. These was more of Beezy's thing and they'd have a couple other dudes apart of it. Not sure what will become of this since Beezy is gonna be taking a break.
Frames Per Second is their main film/television show where they discuss old shows/movies and also review new shows/movies that are out. This one got Myke, Kinge, Rod, and a woman on the show her name is escaping me right now, but this is also a solid show they got on their platform.
All of these are available wherever you get your podcasts. But yeah they're still doing a lot of stuff, even if they say they're "leaving DEHH".
