No, it was not virtuous. Wolff claimed Trump overbid Epstein on a Palm Beach property using money from a Russian Oligarch. It was a money laundering scheme. Epstein was pissed and threatened to expose the whole thing and Trump ended up ratting out Epstein.

Again, Wolff is hit or miss so idk. However, if Epstein exposed Trump's money laundering, Trump might have ratted out Epstein for immunity. It also might be one of the many reasons why he wants this whole thing to go away.
