Prioritize your financial and mental wellbeing over social obligations or fomo.

If you know you need or could use the money then put your head down and grind. If you're comfortable and financially stable then don't because it's not worth working the extra hours unless it's doing something you love

  • Young and single? Yea I’d do those hours because I can stay up at night with no issues

Would never work those hours otherwise

    How'd you get that?

I want an odd career too.

Like a nuclear technician, CIA charter pilot, or chief mate lol...

My cousin is a nuclear engineer

    That s*** for the birds

Famously hard job to get. Each union in each city is different but out here they only give one application to each longtime union member for them to give to whoever they want.

They almost always give it to their direct family member so you got generations of father sons and uncles down here. one of my best friends works there and gave me his application which is which is probably gonna be life changing. In 2018 they did a big lottery with 1500 applications and my number got pulled in the 1300s so I had to wait 8 to start but im f***ing finally working.

Some days are gonna be the hardest you ever worked but some will be by far the easiest and you get to go home 3 hours early with a full days pay
