    im protesting

i once had a job interview with an accounting firm which I had done all my prior research and proper preparation for

But the whole conversation with the Senior Partners had me feeling I was Doing very well the way it was going

I had droppped my guard and got too comfortable cause I thought I was gonna get the job

So when it came to "do you have any questions for us?"

I just asked "yeah what's the best place to eat lunch near work??"

Their response was"oh.... Okay.... UMMM M I gotta think about that,,, I'll go with the McDonald's across the street. Any other questions?"

I replied "nope! That's all I can think of!"

    "Okay thanks for coming in"

    didn't get the job

anyone else fck up an interview cause of their questions???

that wasn't a good question dude... asking good questions will separate you from the rest of the pack & almost always get you a second interview.

    • ask about the information you received from the interviewer
    • asking about the environment on a typical day vs a busy day is always a good question

two of my fav professors were super high ranking executives at NBC for years & they always tell me how they never hired anyone who didn't ask good questions or any questions at all.

yeah no they want you to ask something about the job.

I’ll say the best question is “if I were to get this position what would a day on the job look like for me” cause it’s actually helpful for your decision making. It shows you’re actually considering joining their team.
