New conditioning coach doing wonders already.

if he can just bat .250 with 40 homers he'd do us a huge favor

If he's healthy for the most part that's pretty much on the money of what his season could look like.

another 100+ win season incoming
NL getting DH soon too.
ik
I hate it but especially with the extra roster spot, the players union will push for it
this is the most reputable Padres source there is and he doesn't report s*** unless it's like very serious
WHY WOULD WE TRADE FOR MOOKIE
Trade Mookie to the NL.
it's only one year wouldn't you want him to stay so the Sox don't get assets

True.
But how good would the assets be if it's on a one year?
Power moves only.
Fake ass Dominican

A-Rod the most whitest Dominican.
But I still claim his goofy ass. :word:

so apparently they're asking for prospect depth (which is actually huge for us cause our farm's strength is depth)
looks like the discussions would be Mookie + Price for Myers + a lot of prospects/young guys
reasonable Padres people I trust saying potential Arias, Trammell, Morejon, Naylor on top of that.
Trammell I really like, top 30-40 guy. Glove and speed first dude, but had good hitting pedigree before the Reds f***ed him up and we were able to acquire him for cheap. Could see him as a long-term top of the order guy.
Morejon is a guy with great stuff but so much injury and durability issues he's likely a stud reliever long-term. Would not be surprised if he became like a 3 starter tho.
Naylor's issue is his weight and his defense. Great bat to ball skills, natural power, and elite plate discipline. Corner OF/1B but I think his bat plays as a DH.
Arias is a glove-first SS that had a real nice offensive season last year but with plate discipline issues and him being blocked by Tatis and Machado on the left side he's definitely not a long-term fit for us.
For the Padres, I think it's a good deal before you take into account Mookie isn't making us a WS contender.
For the Red Sox, I'd be very worried about the lack of a true blue chip piece in this trade. But if they're desperate to shed money and think Morejon plays as a starter and/or Trammell's bat is a safe bet then it's a good baseball haul. It really comes down to money for them.

Yeah, f*** this trade. I'm trying to see the Red Sox suffer with their depleted ass farm system.
Let them give up Mookie for nothing.

2B - ????
3B - Manny
SS - Tatis
LF - Pham
CF - Betts
RF - ????
SP - Gore (#1 pitching prospect), Patiño (top 30-40 prospect), Paddack, Lamet, Lucchesi
