im happy with the tweet alone. highlight of the playoffs regardless of outcomes.

West Coast G is a different animal. hes too soft to play in a cold weather city I think is what we're realizing here. thrived in miami, thriving in San Diego.

should we be nervous that chapman hasn't pitched in what like 7 or 8 days?
Only if the lead was one run.

Idk but thats one scary mfer man
Dude throws heat
Altuve hitting that walk off was wild though cause he looked flustered before that
Why not let Britton finish the inning
also chapman regularly went 4-6 outs in regular season and has been for a long time. this is normal
also here is the biggest reason:
its 2 out situation, and he likely wanted chapman to get acclimated to the San Diego stadium with no pressure on him.
if he enters in the 9th cold, then he has to throw perfect right away. this allows him to feel everything out.

the outcome further proved my point. imagine if chapman entered the 9th throwing the way he did for that first walk. walking a guy in 9th like that wouldve been nerve wracking.
whereas in this scenario, he walked that first batter with wild pitches and not a great feel for zone, but its fine cause 2 outs. then got his bearings for the 2nd batter. we cant have this type of feeling out process with 0 outs in the 9th.
