Well guess not lol
I’m so confused, it’s not raining here and I’m 10 min from wrigley lol

This is an MLB classic lol teams postpone games hours in advance for weather that may or may not be there later on in the day
My guess is that they're predicting so much rain after the game starts that if they were to do an in-game delay it would end up being suspended/postponed so they just tried to get out in front of it like they always do
Fans are livid when they get it wrong but quiet af when they get it right, the Nationals are the worst team for this

30% chance at 5pm when the game would have been over anyway but it’s prob covid related where they don’t want people congregating if there was a delay.

Yeah this also makes a lot of sense
I'm just so used to the Nationals postponing a 7PM game at 11AM and then it never even ends up raining
I hate the reds so much
In a normal season the winner of the NL central would have won 86 games at most with the rest of the teams under .500. The specifics of this season were the only reason these teams were close to .500 and made the playoffs lol

Oh your team gave up a run in your playoff series? Cant relate
