Genuinely sad how since 2016 instead of being original he’s felt too insecure to take his own path and create or pursue new sounds so he cheaply emulates whatever is popular at the time
What the hell are you talking about
This is Chicago drill fam, this s*** ain’t poppin
Donda is a classic
Donda 2 would’ve been a classic
See you at the LP
You can make the same argument for Aubrey too
yep both of em

Probably because he’s a had Mott’s apple sauce for brains since 2016

Like JIK didn't happen lol. I don't think it's that he's insecure, he just does what he wants these days. He isn't trying to push the genre forward

Honestly, Nevermind

Drake definitely has more misses than great albums there’s no question about that but if you look at the run he’s had since CLB (not necessarily CLB because there are great moments few and far between) he’s put out consistent quality imo
I like this. Its going to be more of Ty inspired album which is fine as a reentry for Ye. If we get some s*** like ego death and track 6 i will be more than happy. The Ye solo album will be more him and experimental

I should rephrase whatever he thinks is popular, but it doesn’t matter because it just sounds dated anyways

Sure but none of his stuff post IYRTITL is better than Donda in my honest opinion and I love HNVM & Her Loss btw
HAM was the first WTT single and Cold was the first cruel summer single this is in line with that (not sure if it's even a single)
He's never given the craziest out there sounds to preview his collab projects lol

Being a fan for as long as I have and thinking back on how Ed he’s gotten since 2016 is actually sad

It has bump J in it, this is an homage to chicago drill
I don’t love ye’s verse but I love the concept

Good point. He def had an angle to premiere this exact song to this exact station too
