Working with Women

I work in the social work field. Ain't nothing but women. Had my own supervisor tell me to watch out when dealing with female clients cause I'm handsome. Wasn't no damn reason to throw in that she thought I was handsome, lol.

Right and I understand that! You have to be veryyy careful when dealing with female clients because things can happen so fast, especially in the social work or mental health field. Plus your supervisor was saying something positive and connecting it to the workplace.

Meanwhile my supervisor on the other hand insulted my intelligence and I just met her. Last week she said I was smart, now this week I’m apparently slow.

Has your supervisor ever made a weird remark or indirectly called you slow? It’s also important to mention I’ve been working at this job for not even a month.

I’m def going to keep it pushing but I just hate little digs and insults from complete strangers.
