First paycheck from new job & last paycheck from old job hit today

graduated with a bachelor of commerce in marketing/management, but i’m gonna go back to school to get a masters of science in data science/analytics
feels like that’s where a lot of high quality work will be going the next decade or two.
i have a lot of project management experience (nearly 4 years, and i’m 24) and i’m trying to parlay a MSc + some professional accreditations (PMP/PMI-ACP) into a program manager/director role at a company like Google, Apple, or Microsoft within the next 3-4 years.
i’ve come a long way from s***posting on KTT1 as a teenager
i’ve been trolling on Linkedin a lot lately, just looking at jobs and the people who have them.
kinda disappointing to see that basically every senior-type role at a major company ONLY has people over the ages of 45+ it seems like
i'm tryna be a director at google by 30

on the management/business side yeah that tends to be the case, especially for executive roles. but on the technical side of things you can make it to that level a lot faster while making the same money. very common to see millennial technical project managers and architects especially at F500 companies.

i managed to get an A***ytics PM role at a fairly large global company without having any quant/coding experience so i need to grind where i am now so that i can get to where i wanna be down the line
