At this job on Friday we have an hour meeting where we update each other on our week
Like I don’t give a f*** about what any of you are doing. And I don’t expect you to give a f*** about what I’m doing either
Some people go on for like 15 mins just talking about bullshit that only applies to them. I swear, they just love to hear themselves talk
I just say like 3 bullet points in under 15 seconds as a principal. They all know I do more than what I say but it’s like why would I expect you guys to care?
I just recently started participating in zoom call meetings at work and it’s insane how quickly my mind jumps to wanting to kill myself when I hear these people talk

8am i arrive at the office:
first hour i get "settled"
2nd hour i start doin some light work
10am-11am i try to do some serious work. then by 11:30 im coolin down cause lunch is at 12.
then from like 2-3:30 i do some serious work. cool off starting at 4pm, leave at 4:30 - May 27, 2025eversince

i've been thinking the same, but the job market is super roughI have plans to return to school, and I’ll be taking some classes this summer in preparation which is gonna cut into my hours as is, which’ll force me to go part time and lose out on insurance benefits. I’ve saved up quite a bit and could still do DoorDash on the side if I feel the need to, it’d just be nice to work on my own time rather than be vested to the company’s schedule

Execs at my company are starting to use them. But hardly have any internet literacy
Chat GPT/Copilot aren’t always right man. Especially in more complex problems. It’s so f***ing frustrating
And then if you say that, they look at you and judge you as if you aren’t willing to adapt or work efficiently…
