I forgot who posted the video but crane really is the best opener unless its a dumb word like tacit

My go to strat is to start with irate (3 vowels and r,t which are common) and then cover the other vowels with sound/bound/pound. But it's hella disheartening when that first guess is all grey

Dafuq What's your strategy for the first word, I'm tryna get like you

I used to do crane into louis to eliminate all the vowels but i turned on hard mode and thats not an option anymore

And if you get like 1 or 2 yellow letters, do you actually take a while to think of what the word could possibly be? Or do you just put another guess immediately to eliminate some letters and make things easier for yourself? I do the latter, but I feel like that's why I'm getting 4s and 5s a lot
