If anything its an even worse option than not rebooting at all because its just gonna enflame people who's fav characters aren't sticking around. they'll be like okay if we're keeping Ezra and TSS/Peacemaker people why don't i get to keep (insert their favourite)

agreed. this has been one massive mess. it's clear DC needs to tighten up its creative team too, because there is way too much leakage about this all.

could be related to WB execs having differing opinion then Gunn, and so they're leaking this information for whatever reason.

regardless they need to tighten it up. i know marvel has it's own rumor mill but what's going on with DC rn is excessive.

Marvel's rumor mill is like "oh this guy might be in this project" or "this is gonna happen here"

Not "um, these people want this guy as Superman but these people don't"

Marvel runs a tight ship when it comes to creative decisions. Everyone there is on board with what they do for the most part

I'm not hearing about anything yet that is completely separated from narratives Hamada's crew were pitching and those ideas weren't really grabbing anyone outside of fans and will confuse audiences very quickly. I don't even think a MCU-type phase 1 or a "corrected" DCEU phase is gonna work the same anymore. They gotta completely reset and redefine what a DCU means for audiences. It's a risk tho and i fear they are stuck on methods that could have worked late 00's-2010's
