This is a confirmation of either two live action Batmans (which no f***ing way they’re gonna do) or Reeves Batman is the DCU Batman (the simplest way to read those tweets). Hoping for the latter. You’re telling me we get Reeves Batman staying in the pocket of the Gotham world in solo appearances but also gets to be in crossover DC films - while being the same character w/likely consultation from Reeves - and that’s not ideal??? Fans are panicking over “cinematic universe = bad they’ll ruin Reeves Batman” but I don’t think so at all. James is huge on artistic freedom and letting filmmakers do their own thing; Feige did it for him with Guardians as well
