Go peep lanterns thread I need help

So much of that are things that Gunn needs to step back focus on running the universe . Why do I want someone running a multimillion dollar universe that runs gaming tv and film to step back pause making his own movies or tv shows and facilitate best that he can a univese?

Because I care about the characters .....

The same reason when Snyder was f***ing things up and he had Hamada and all his drama, his daughter dying all of that I gave him grace but also wanted better communication

I dont know why on a forum so often I say "man I personally would like this"

and someone will try to invalidate my personal opinion even when its in no way hostile.

"I think it would help them to communicate better"

then suddenly its outrage .

It grows tiring saying the most basic opinion based entirely on how I feel fully articulated and someone like

"I dont feel that way and everyone on the internet who feels that way is overreacting"

thats great do you have to well actually every single time someone says something . One of the guys objecting to what I am saying 2 months ago was saying "they need to start brave and the bold now"

I am not even saying start a movie. I am saying communicate information with the fans rather than wait til June 2027 to say any future news

even that information that we know directly communicate it with your fans rather than let trades and grifters communicate your wins

when Adria Arjona is joining the cast create a video announcement rather than me reading the information from the same trades slandering you. Directly communicate with your fans in a way other than an offshoot of instagram isnt a crazy ask

Like I get wanting a plan but every time he announces something and it gets canceled people throw a fit. So yes just announce what’s definitely coming and let the merger s*** get figured out then move forward.

Me saying "man I would like to hear news directly from DC not in threads and not from grifters or deadline" isnt even negative its how it helps them build fan trust in general.

The merger s*** wont be known til June 2027 and no matter which way it lands then Warner Brothers can still even after merger doesnt go through change their prioritization some they are under David Zaslav regardless. yes there is a payout if the paramount deal fails but sitting on your hands til June 2027 no casting ,director, writer news on Batman, Wonder Woman, Titans and future major movies is kind of ridiculous

If you are fine with that cool but earlier in this same year you were like "omg yes we are going to get so much DCU news this year and cant wait to see these projects start getting cast" then I say 8 months into the year damn I would like some concrete information and its a travesty to say

Yea, It only makes sense to announce sum when its far along because of this. Honestly the whole idea of a slate is something the MCU came up with, and it has its own problems.

I dont think any other cinematic universe does it beside Marvel, I wouldn't mind DC not doing slate announcements anymore

The whole idea of a slate was something that MCU created. he didnt have to follow that model at all. Warner brothers has been in a place of possibly being sold and dealing with issues even before Gunn started so the idea of "okay he deserves to pause proper information pathways until this is done" isnt really logical. The issue existed before he even signed to DC. I say this as someone who was literally working at a Warner Brothers company and a major employee of WB visited the studio saying it

I am not dissapointed they were not happening or delayed I dont care about paradise lost, waller , booster gold half of that s*** i care that we have no directors, writers actors attached at all.
When you dont announce directors, writers actors at all what am I to expect but development hell or not getting made for 5-10 years?

unless you are saying that peter safran is lying. If Ellison is okay with what they are doing and they are good either way than why wait til post merger to communicate the information

They can do whatever they want at the end of the day but its perfectly reasonable for fans to lose trust and voice the lost of trust. People arent going to be silent because others blindly trust them

the idea of pretending its irrational to want a chapter 2 plan when chapter 1 gods and monsters is in the thread title. To the point where its being said "stop saying chapters at all" and we should just vibe

S*** I am patient we just waited 5 years in between spider man movies but you know what throughout that 5 year wait for the batman 2 or spider man they directly communicated with fans how things were progressing and where their head was at.
