Lame but at least itβs not AI in the actual movie
That we know of
is there a chance that those are just a folder of photoshops by a concept artist. never used ai sites so i wouldnt recognise the ui
Hey guys you know that movie you either ignored or despised? Yeah AI was also involved for the concept art of that movie
Dc having the oddest week of news
All same week as lanterns
Media gunning hard at Gunn and dc because this all breaking this week crazy

Just made me feel more justified
One of the shots with her flying I genuinely said looked like ai involved
How do we know these aren't just artist renderings that he's toggling through?
People love creating controversy outta nothing. Lol
They dropped the first 5 minutes of Lanterns trying to make people forget about Supergirl just for this to come out. They going to drop Man of Tomorrow and Batman Part 2 teasers after the X-Men news.

The more we learn, the more I feel laying out 10 projects before even getting one into theaters was a mistake.
Creature Commandos - Renewed for a second season (although that's not a guarantee these days)
Superman - Success
Peacemaker Season 2 - Came out, final season?
Supergirl - Flop
Lanterns - Starts Sunday
Authority - CANCELLED
Waller - CANCELLED
Booster Gold - Scrapped and being retooled
Paradise Lost - CANCELLED
The Brave and the Bold - ???
Swamp Thing - ?? - Mangold has a lot on his plate but we also haven't heard a thing since the announcement
Since that initial video these have been announced by them or trades:
Clayface - Hitting Theaters October
Man of Tomorrow - Filming
Jimmy Olsen Show - (Why?) Filming
Bane and Deathstroke movie - Development
Sgt. Rock - CANCELLED
Wonder Woman - Development with Supergirl writer
Teen Titans - Development with Supergirl writer
Blue Beetle Animated - Scrapped at HBO but could go elsewhere?
Mr. Miracle Animated - Moving forward
Mister Terrific Show - Development
This is not to say that they shouldn't have announced the above projects outside of what's in production now, but I think doing so before having total proven success was kind of short sighted. DC was a damaged brand when Gunn took over and the first big movie was a hit. I think he could've announced a "slate" after Superman at that Comic Con. Momentum would've been rolling and I don't think we would have this weird assortment of cancelled or scrapped projects along with new projects that weren't a part of the initial announcement.
I hate doing this but compared to how Marvel started out, I don't think they ever did a big slate presentation until that Phase 3 presentation where they announced Civil War. By that time they were a proven success and there was enough confidence behind the product to put all those titles out there. And even with that, they still did add projects to that slate (namely Spider-Man: Homecoming) but they also cancelled Inhumans (or rather shifted it to an ABC show where the concept died a humiliating death). So it wasn't all sunshine and daisies. But that's one project vs. what looks to be about 5?
I get that the WB shareholders probably wanted to see a plan, but I don't think that plan should've been made public. Almost 4 years later, half of that plan has completely changed.
like others have said plenty of times, marvel didnt have all this s*** laid out in phase 1, i understand its a different era now but yeah announcing all this s*** was a massive mistake

Missing the animated Robins movie
Why the f*** do you even need to use AI for that lol
I need that Teen titans live action movie bad (assuming itβs good)
Would be so cool

https://twitter.com/nebsgoodtakes/status/2087908875966283908Tbh I've seen early Photoshop concept arts look like that too so it's hard to say without any proof
Also I doubt people would have cared if the movie was actually good
Has some of the genuine issues I predicted when he said he was the head of DC then rather than take a step back said "I am going to direct superman" like he was reluctant to do so then already man of tomorrow when its like pause and give a concrete plan so that people can have faith. Even if Superman successful, Lanterns and Clayface. I still want a plan with directors, writers, composers. Seem like you know what you are doing a bit more. The sassy responses on threads is everything I criticized zack for with responding to tweets and vero. then the taking the credit in interviews or being like "I decided this" . When its like you get to choose be a director or run the universe you cant keep doing both because its leading to half assing both of those things
He would never do lanterns though and clayface was already being made. Reeves is in his own zone. The Batman already made money and reeves likely dealt with something in his real life so who cares.
I want to see Gunn hand the keys of a movie to a real director and not hire a prop director or someone he seeks to control
