Funny thing is the DCEU's problem was that they were trying to rush things too much. But now the issue with the DCU is it's too slow. We're gonna be 5 years into this cinematic universe without the trinity on-screen

I feel like for WW and especially Batman, they want some distance from prior iterations. Granted Matt will still be doing his thing, but I don’t think they want much if any overlap with Batman. For Wonder Woman, Gal more or less defined the character for a generation so that one is going to be a little hard to replace with instant wide spread approval

Thing I hate most about Gunn is how much he talks. He talked so much s*** about DC being different then Marvel and they won't announce things before they are done. Then he released a video of what they're making and half is changed now. Also peacemaker szn 2 was s*** smh.

I get that but I would've just held off from a cinematic universe before we could have the slate together unless we were using The Batman as the start of the new universe. This is how the first 3 years of the MCU looked in comparison:
