Underwhelming finale. S1 > S2

I was watching the season, 2 episodes per week so it was pretty satisfying for me. But feel like all the episodes of this season should been out on day one tbh or better yet just consolidated the episodes to like 4-5 episodes

I enjoyed the finale it was heartfelt, wasnt really expecting much world building and the moments between ads and her wife and Peacemaker got me , the Salvation world looks interesting.

But I do think there was a lot of threads that didn't serve much purpose or could of been explored more, season needed to be either fleshed out more or be tighter

The essence of what made the team such a hit in S1 was barely revisited at all this season. They barely got any time fighting together as a unit, and then all of sudden its just this huge emotional moment at the end that doesn't feel deserved at all. We also awkwardly revisit things like Adebayo's marriage which was a consistent S1 element. Very odd imo.

I really wish he didn't overhype E6-8. Its fine for it to be withheld from critics but a bit overboard to do the "oh you just wait!" thing week after week. Does not help for his inevitable promo of future content.

Argus puts Chris in Salvation which the storyline they’re doing with it seemingly by making a Metahuman prison comes from Salvation Run which lead up to Final Crisis in the comics

This season was getting low ass ratings n he was trying to save face and get the views up before zaslav recycles his ass like the Batgirl movie
