The issue is you can't just wave a wand and cast Rob Pattinson. He's booked around the clock and clearly wants to do a ton of different stuff alongside picking back up on Reeves films.

He's playing a lead role in FIVE upcoming films BEFORE The Batman Part II releases. He's jumping from Odyssey to Dune 3 to The Batman 2 very quietly. I think picking up every few years will ensure he's around for a while more than a quicker schedule of films and cameos that interrupt his other career goals

It seems like he has influence on Reeves stories anyways so I'm sure he's gotten ideas through.

That is not a good equivalent, both examples are already established to be fantastical so they can easily fit in the dcu. Matt reeves vision does not.

I've found this whole argument to be a lazy and unimaginative way to go about comic adapted universes. Like does Reevesverse need a monster to appear in Gotham to really justify the belief it could reside in a world that has Superman in Metropolis or Flash in Central City?

But thats like half of the fun of batman interracting with superman or The justice League lol

He's a normal guy amongst aliens and super humans and has to be extra creative to deal with those fantastical threats

These are Batman villain all stuped in fantasy elements that in no way would fit with Matt reeves world unless changed dramatically.
Yes Batman is just a human but Matt reeves version is very different and nerfed compared to comic version.
