It was when the MCU was at its peak of popularity, so locals were constantly complaining about how the DCEU was too dark and not "funny" and "colorful" like the MCU. That they should've done a whole ass Superman trilogy + solo Batman and WW movies before BvS because "thats how the MCU did it". That we needed to "know" these characters better before BvS and JL
