Just make solo movies
I think solo films that are LOOSELY tied together work best. Hopefully they learn from marvels mistakes in that aspect. Every film should stand on its own instead of being in service of the bigger brand

When they first introduced the DCEU as a cinematic universe where the movies would have their own unique identity and would be other genre of film in disguise as superhero movie like, batman being a mystery movie,
And how the directors would get creative freedom they had me excited only to fail and just make watered down marvel movies.

They preemptively put Cavill in The Flash too
Cameo didn’t help the BA box office, film is going through flop allegations -> Cavill back out, cameo removed from the flash, Snyderverse getting Thanos snapped
I guess it would’ve happened regardless, and Gunn would’ve had to make the call eventually but IMO black Adam gave him a reason

You have 2 characters (Shazam/Captain Marvel and Black Adam) with 80 years of connected history.... Why the f*** did they adapt an origin comic that had Black Adam in it, remove Black Adam, put him in his own movie with a completely butchered origin, film a Shazam sequel and still not place major rivals against each other? They struggle to do the EASY s***. Now we have 3 films now that all will do meh-bad
