    The worst part is that this take is coming from black men mostly. Just heard about Kareem and Shannon talking about it. Why are they so concerned about how other people view us? Like you said those people are probably racist anyways. They are so focused on the negative of shaming Will, instead of the positive of praising Chris.

    I think a big part of it is confirmation bias as well, people like to perceive events in a way that is consistent with the way they view the world instead of seeing the full picture which might challenge the way they think
