He's at an event on his best behavior he hears a joke he doesnt like he tries to be a good sport and laughs but then he sees how his wife responded to the joke and I think it just lit the fuse. Plus the history Chris Rock has with Jada taking unneccessary shots. Especially since last time it was Jada coming to Will's defense I felt like he felt he needed to do something.
