PhlegmEh i think it’s worse to be wrong and not admit it vs seeing a mistake and apologizing. What is the point of grandstanding for the sake of appearing unwavering when you know and believe you were wrong?
I definitely understand why he did it and it’s absolutely the correct move for the court of public perception but to me if your stand was to put everything else aside and defend your wife by what you deemed as acceptable why are you gonna pivot off of that? Idk situation is dumb af all around lol

People change their mind is why they pivot tho. You never have and apologized for something? He basically said in his apology he acted out of emotion (impulsive) and not in line with the person he wants to be (long term). We not perfect
