NixIn hindsight, I agree that Drake's line is more disrespectful. I just hate how, in a rap beef, we only discuss disrespectfulness when it comes to Drake.
Tbf Drake not only disrespected one but TWO of the most beloved artists of all time. Using Pac's voice was a step way too far and I thought Drake would have known this because of that A.I song of him and the Weeknd.

I really think if Drake just focused on themes of Kendrick being bitter, having a Napoleon complex, and being boring as his main narratives, this beef would’ve just ended up a stalemate with each fan base fine with what their artist did. Bc I don’t see Kendrick’s insinuations being done the same way if Family Matters just focuses on those types of themes.
Not sure what bringing up the other stuff with MJ accomplished? Seemed tasteless especially bc he’s been homaging and comparing himself to MJ for years.

Like bro this nigga used 2pac A.I to denounce pedophile rumors about himself. Drake and Kendrick did not perform on the same level in this beef and I can't pretend like they did just for the sake of seeming impartial. Yes Kendrick is my favorite rapper but he also did objectively better than Drake.

Just my $0.02, but I think it's more charged when it comes to drake in hindsight because of the culture angle that k dot took. Even before that, he was still viewed as a Canadian rapper, and a VERY succesful one at that, but when you get the context of him entering the culture and then moving like how he did, you can see how it ruffled a couple of feathers.
