I don't like the Israel-Palestine point you just jammed in but this was an interesting read. When you think about the $400 mil sunk into Drake's deal, it kinda makes sense that the UMG machine is very hands on with his career moves now. Interested to see where he goes from here, but it looks like he might be gearing up for a summer release.
oh well i was gonna elaborate on it more but had to eat breakfast
the mainstream has lost the control of israel + palestine narrative. they can’t control israels image they way they use to, and stop top university students from protesting on campuses. this is similar to what we are seeing with drakes image. the powers cannot control how many people are listening to Not Like Us, or scream out “a minor”.
regardless of truth or morality, the audience has shown in both situations true independence of thought, that’s why i made the parallels
Super great a***ysis, the israel-palestine thing seems shoehorned in but either way good read
my response above
Eh...I disagree only because there's TONS of ways Kanye could've boosted his sales and dominate the charts that he never took advantage of.
He could've finished Donda 2, dropped it, and get sales from it but he didn't.
He could've dropped Donda on a Friday instead of a Sunday but he didn't.
He could've dropped Vultures on a Friday instead of a Saturday but he didn't.
He couldn't dropped Carnival before the album even dropped but he didn't.
He could've dropped Vultures 2 and got sales off the initial hype but he didn't.
He could've completely apologized on a full scale level for the anti-Semitic s*** but he didn't.
He also chose to go Independent and have no major label support for the album.
That doesn't sound like someone trying to compete with the biggest rap star in the world to me.
I do think Kanye has a level of insecurity towards Drake for sure but I don't really agree with this post.
Also, Vultures and FATD sound so disparate from each other that I don't see how anyone can view that as competition in any way lol. The only similarity they share is being average at best albums.
I’ve never understood why people still say Kanye is chasing sales. That man has not gave a f*** about numbers since 2012. Literally every move he’s made musically since then has been a self-sabotage of the highest possible sales totals
• Yeezus: No lead single, extremely experimental / abrasive album
• TLOP: Dropped on a Sunday, again no lead single, was only available through Tidal, the album wasn’t even available to purchase until two months after it released
• Ye: No lead single, 7 songs long in the height of the streaming era where more songs = more sales
• Kids See Ghosts: No lead single, 7 songs, experimental project
• Jesus is King: No lead single, 27 minute gospel album
• Donda: Dropped on a Sunday, most of the album is very dark and morose
• Vultures 1: Probably his biggest album attempt at commercial appeal since Cruel Summer, but again dropped on an unconventional day, and the album was removed from streaming multiple times in its’ first week of release

my point is that drake’s deal allows him to not worry about any of these things; the machine is behind him
he mentions how since vma’s they pulled that machine from him. he has to spend energy to do everything you listed below, and that’s just to compete (and lose) numbers wise.
mind you he is making product, working on like 100 things at once.
KTT ability to insert Kanye into every topic is unmatched
kanyetothe
Drake came up under Wayne when Wayne had over 70 features in a year.
Drake just following his mentors steps with that.
this beef has nothing to do with kanye. kanye is a complete has been at this point, desperate for attention. It reminds me of when the game started dissing meek in 2015 or 2016 whenever that was. noone caree about kanye and nobody saved kanye. why would anyone care about anything kanye says or does at this point?
don’t even get me started ob the war stuff lol
Kendrick been saving Kanye since All Day when niggas hated on him for Yeezus and prep'd them for TLOP

Theres a leak of kendrick that is a reference for Kanye

Kendrick, kanye and drake have done or said nothing of note with regards to Palestine or any other form of anti-imperialism/colonialism so idk why you made that connection OP
