He has evolved in different ways since those albums. Early Nas didn't have a One Mic. He didn't have a Dance or a Cherry Wine. It's not like you can only hear those 2 albums and think you know Nas lol.
Yeah but if I listen to anything besides those two albums my opinion would change of him in general. And not in a positive light.

When this and Ghetto Dreams dropped I knew Nas was about to drop a classic on us
Then Daughters came out, I was like holy s*** this dude is really the GOAT
I still listen to this weekly. This is everything I've wanted in a Nas song.... since forever. I'm a sucker for soulful and nostalgic sounds

Everybody knew Nas was back when it dropped, track is amazing! I guess this is the first album I copped a Spotify subscription for. They didn't had the album in store in my city, don't know what was up with that

Lost Tapes prod is perfect, prod on Stillmatic and God's Son is great for the most part too.. only a couple misses.

To be honest, I think this version is inferior. It has a raw and funkier feel, but that doesn't automatically make it better.

Yeah but that's my point. Nas ain't have no misses on his new album too me.. nor on his 90s joints.
