    ICEMAN KIR

personally i find the songs quite one note and not that interesting, like most of the songs never build to something more than i was expecting

it's good but not a 10/10 like everyone was acting like it was when it came out, i think the initial reception was a combination of "finally cudi and ye did an album" thing and the fact it was pretty good compared to "ye" which had just come out

it's like a 7.5-8/10 for me, kanye's discography before 2018 is just much more enjoyable

My own hot take is that Ye(the album) had higher highs and lower lows.

There's no song as mid as All Mines on KSG but there's no song as classic as Violent Crimes and Ghost Town either.

I'll even say that Yikes can compete with the best songs on KSG too(Thanks Aubrey).

If anything, I think KSG being the 2nd best Wyoming project caused Ye to become underrated.

By no means is it on par with the 1st 7 albums but I feel it's content and lyrics aged well barring All Mines. It was basically Ye's attempt as a self reflective therapy album but not executed to its best potential.

Superb album. Some of the rapping takes couldve been better and maybe a few more harder bars at points are my only gripes. Beats, singing, themes and the engineering are on point

  • not classic

This one of them low level classics. Kanye had two classics that year even tho he was clearly past his prime. DAYTONA and KSG.

Wouldn't call KSG a classic but it was a great project.

This album is special because it deadass feels like the last time either artist locked in and made something good. They brought the best out in each other on here. S*** still feels like an anomaly.

It’s a perfect album. Very important to me. Sometimes it does sadden me that others don’t recognize it as a masterpiece.

11/10 went diamond in my headphones, it’s an album for the real Stans, it’s under “kids see ghosts” artist name so only the real ones know
