I don’t use it because “girl” or “woman” sounds better, but that’s just my personal preference.
It doesn’t bother me when others say it, but apparently “female” is seen as derogatory now.
I just wanna know why

What does "being a woman mean" ? I heard it was a social construct but idk how/why? Can you give examples? (or if you don't want to type it out link me a source or something?)
