the dude from venezuela right? as outsiders how can we tell him hes wrong about his own country? sounds very self important

Yeah no I’ve never lived in Israel but I don’t need an Israeli to defend or explain their settler colony to me

  • “Lived experiences” are important in that they help shape someone’s subjective view but that doesn’t mean it supersedes everything else or is free from any scientific investigation. Lib bullshit

  • Because he's a lib

The nuance is recognizing your subjective worldview based on where you grew up doesn’t mean it’s 100% objective, this applies to literally everything.

A white trump supporter and a black liberal will likely have two different subjective “lived experiences” within America, a white person saying America isn’t racist doesn’t make their subjective viewpoint grounded in reality

Because your comment telling others “you can’t tell him about his country he grew up in” was dumb

Ok so do u have a good take on this topic or are u jus chatting?

My perspective is idk enough to make any statement on the situation. I dont have to pick any side. Ion fw the way trump handled the situation but i also cant say the intention was necessarily wrong

  • Cam Skattebo Fan

You could have made this a cool thread about this video of Fantano platforming a bunch of Venezuelan artists and their experiences but instead you’re going to invite s*** slop because that’s what your title is

The intention was to take over the country and steal its resources.

Yeah, Maduro shouldn’t have been kidnapped and any Venezuelan seriously supporting a foreign country coming in a doing some COD style mission shouldn’t be taken seriously.

not every Venezuelans opinion is… good or should be acted upon.

yup. been countless chatter for months way before all this happening about how Venezuela coincidently has the biggest Oil reserves globally. Not a coincidence at all.

Plus added bonus this comes after the Epstein Files transparency act and they can use this to shed attention away

Ok i am willing to believe based on evidence that this is true and is wrong morally

However, the collateral effect of a dictator being removed could yield some positive results. And if a venezuelan citizen thinks its a net positive who am i to say theyre wrong?

Normally when America decides to take over a country, rob it of its resources, and then establish a military presence it is not a good thing or a net positive for the country.

Like historically speaking it is never a good thing lol
