Man just hates Billie Ellish a 24 year old for speaking out

    I dont hate her

  • @op still isn’t posting the source on that quote because it doesn’t exist outside of an anonymous Fox News message

So you think it's a stupid criticism to make so you're like making it yourself to make the point instead of just saying "hey that's a stupid point"

Convoluted unnecessary and comes across like you're just looking to bicker

Im just pointing out their hypocrisy and the double standards they use. See how rattled they get? I havent thrown a single insult all thread. Just discussed the topic

I mean would you say you expect certain things out of certain artists more than others?

Like people to to different musicians for different things and their expectations are based on that

Personally I wouldn't make the criticism about anyone but like I don't think it's a definite thing that the person is being a hypocrite

Like I can see why someone would be more interested in a political statement from Kendrick lamar than vapid pop s***symbol sabrina carpenter

  • Damn Fox gassed out they keep having to get fake mad at the halftime show (that they didn’t watch), the “woke” Grammys, and I guess whatever new tangent Trump decides to fixate on later this week

Of course. So my question is why is this squarely a hip hop thing? You could say whatever you want about hip hop and rappers on this site but if you speak on any other genre its a problem

You knew if you phrased this thread right it likely wouldn’t get moved to politics section . Which is the thread where you objectively lost and no one was insulting you . As you continued to straw man and jump to conclusions others didn’t make . We’ve been patient with you for days laying out why we as black or non white people hope for more from our artist especially hip hop . Again @insertcoolnamehere broke it down for you . You can disagree , call it a double standard , pout but you can’t say it hasn’t been explained to you clearly

Hip hop and rap are separate

From future no one is expecting it but from artist that came up and rose to prominence off being political some expect it

Expectations aren’t reality all artist sell out in their own ways

I think some people have more hope for the political messaging in hip hop than they do for radio pop from Disney stars and I don't think it's completely unreasonable

They spent like 5 years on this site calling conscious rap white people music. its not a genuine critique
