So, you want to live in a society where if you shove someone, they are free to grab a knife, stab you in the chest, and walk away scot-free? You don't fight an injustice by rooting for another injustice just to even the score. Pretty sure there are better hills to die on when it comes to judicial injustice than this. These aren't even adults; it's just a tragic story between dumb high school teenagers that nobody would care about if the media and alt-right trolls on the internet didn't do everything to politicize it and blow it out of proportion. You hear stories like this between black and black or white and white schoolmates all the time.

Defense didn’t help at all if people actually read the case . How they were expecting him to win I’m a bit baffled. I never root for any black person to have prison time of any kind especially a child. There was nothing stopping him from walking away . He was being asked to walk away. He would have gotten wet in the rain it wasn’t a fight where metcalf was on top of him and he was in immediate danger. By all witness accounts it was escalated by Anthony and he admitted he did it to police that he made a mistake then asked them if self defense would work .

This is my issue arguing that a child of any race deserves to die after they died under the guise of an altercation was started , they’ve held weapons before , they are ignorant. Is the same logic used to justify our deaths .

35 years is egregious. Again could have given him the lesser charge . Should have but the people want vengeance. If this hadnt become a viral case where he received a million culture war. That he didn’t testify in any way he would stand a better chance his defense is ex prosecutor too.
