Rap is created and cultivated in the states. You can be poppin in your country all you want but in the grand scheme of s*** it don’t matter if you not poppin out here. Specifically with rap. The producers are. The rappers not cuz the songs ain’t all that. Drill was dead until NY breathed life into it. Idk how ya tryna deny that.
If you a nigga in NY making Afrobeats and you not poppin in Africa it don’t matter. If you a reggaeton artist and niggas don’t bump you in DR it don’t matter. So on and so on.
