She got a pretty similar fanbase to Taylor, demographically speaking. Alot of her fans were like elementary age, so even a decade later they were still a very young audience. Same s*** we see in Niall Horan or any of those one direction dudes. Or Bugatti Biebs until things went left for him

Taylor has way more artistic credibility. i don't like country that's that mainstream and most of her fans probably don't care about those years, but indirectly they've probably helped give her this much staying power. i think people can tell there's more to taylor than someone like Ari or Katy, even if they don't know why

She was always garbage, but when you take away the theatrics and just listen to music it really hits you how terrible she is.

Dua Lipa has a similar vibe. The industry keeps trying to tell us she's the next version of Madonna but i don't buy it, she's mediocre.
